If we are going to indulge in the Holidays and let’s face it, ladies, (we will), then let's embrace it and not try to avoid it, which tends to make things harder anyway. I found a simple recipe, (I personally like simple), for creamy fudge to help us during our weight loss suspension. Better to maintain than add back to our already successful loss.

What is your favorite weight loss recipes for the Holidays

  • The first ingredient is low fat sweetened condensed milk, you can, however, experiment with the mil part, try soy or rice milk if you have issues with milk or just want a healthier twist. (You will need about 2/3′s cup)
  • The second ingredient is semi-sweet chocolate chips, again their alternative things for this as well, visit your local ‘natural’ store for ideas. (Roughly 1 1/2 cups)
  • The third ingredient is our old friend vanilla extract. (3/4 to 1 teaspoon depending upon preference)Last but not least, a pinch of salt, or half as is needed.
  • Once you have your desired ingredients put them all in a saucepan on low to medium heat, stirring the ingredients until it evenly melts and mixes. Pour the contents into an un-greased 10-inch square pan.
You will want to let this cool down in the refrigerator for at least 2 to 4 hours and PRESTO You have a wonderful weight loss maintenance fudge dessert for your holiday gathering.
